In August 2018, I lead a project to landscape part of The Old Burying Ground. During that project I noted that most of the graves were illegible, looking for an Eagle project I looked into the history. I quickly got in contact with TAVI (The Allentown Village Initiative) . The original project was to make one sign displaying information about each of the graves, and the virtual tour to accompany it. After some pressure from my Troop and TAVI. The project was expanded to include Two signs, grave restoration, and the virtual tour. With the help of TAVI members Martha Ploshay and Nancy Tindall, as well as the town historian Alice Wikoff. We were able to finish this fantastic project in under a year.
